Q Gardens Farm Shop - a busy farm shop in south Oxfordshire featuring butchery, deli, fruit & veg, (including our own home-grown fruit) and homemade ice cream plus many other products. We have a hard-earned reputation for quality products and excellent customer service.
Looking for a butcher for the butchery department of our busy farm shop in south Oxfordshire. We would consider either full or part-time, job share, experienced or newly trained or trainee.
Ideally candidates should have the full range of butchery skills, from breaking down carcasses of our home-produced livestock, to presentation of the final products in the butchery counter. Excellent customer service skills are required, along with an interest in cooking and the ability to advise customers on their choices and how to prepare.
High standards of personal cleanliness & presentation and food hygiene are required. Food hygiene training, or proof of hygiene training is also needed.
Candidate must be a good team player, ideally with a cheerful personality and a great sense of humour!
Our shop is open 7 days a week, so some weekend working is required.
Role could be salaried or per hour. We can be flexible, to make the job fit to a good candidate.

Pay: £27,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
