Location: Uttoxeter – Elkes Biscuits
Shift Pattern: 3on-3off, 19:00 - 07:00
As a Process Operative, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring various stages of the biscuit production process to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. This includes operating machinery, monitoring ingredients, conducting quality checks, and adhering to production schedules.
The Reality of the Role

Key Responsibilities
- High-Volume Production: Operate and monitor heavy industrial biscuit machinery, ensuring maximum output without sacrificing quality.
- Heavy Lifting & Manual Handling: Accurately measure and load large quantities of ingredients—consistency is vital even at scale.
- Quality at Speed: Conduct quality checks to ensure every biscuit meets our standards while the line is moving.
- Mechanical Ownership: Troubleshoot and resolve minor machinery issues on the spot to prevent costly downtime.
- Strict Compliance: Maintain a safe environment by following rigorous health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
- Target Driven: Collaborate with your shift team to meet production targets and tight deadlines.
- Precision Logging: Complete production paperwork and digital logs accurately to track our high-volume output.
