<p>Equans is looking for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer to join our team in Croydon on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting residents and clients across social housing and regeneration projects, ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience throughout the delivery of improvement and maintenance works.</p> <p>As a Resident Liaison Officer, you’ll act as the main point of contact between residents, our site team, and project managers — helping to minimise disruption, manage expectations, and maintain strong relationships within the local community.</p> <p>A full UK driving license is essential for this role.</p> <h3>Key Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, keeping them informed of planned works, schedules, and progress.</p> </li> <li> <p>Work closely with site managers and supervisors to ensure residents’ needs are understood and met.</p> </li> <li> <p>Arrange access appointments, distribute notices, and assist in resolving any issues or complaints efficiently and professionally.</p> </li> <li> <p>Attend and support resident meetings, open days, and community engagement events.</p> </li> <li> <p>Keep accurate records of resident interactions, access arrangements, and any special requirements.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure residents’ homes are treated with care and respect during all works.</p> </li> <li> <p>Promote Equans’ commitment to excellent customer service and community partnership.</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Who You Are</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Previous experience in a Resident Liaison Officer, Customer Service, or Housing Support role (ideally within social housing, regeneration, or construction environments).</p> </li> <li> <p>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust quickly.</p> </li> <li> <p>Organised and proactive, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.</p> </li> <li> <p>Empathetic and patient, with a professional and approachable manner.</p> </li> <li> <p>Confident working independently and as part of a wider site/project team.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong IT and administrative skills for managing resident data and communications.</p> </li> <li>Full UK driving license </li> </ul> <h3><strong>What We Offer</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>Competitive salary and benefits package</p> </li> <li> <p>24 days annual leave + bank holidays</p> </li> <li> <p>Pension scheme and life assurance</p> </li> <li> <p>Employee benefits platform with discounts and wellbeing support</p> </li> <li> <p>Opportunities for professional development and career progression within Equans</p> </li> </ul> <h3><strong>Who We Are</strong></h3> <p>At <strong>Equans</strong>, we deliver essential services across energy, regeneration, and facilities management, supporting communities as they transition to a sustainable future.
