Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations within our busy hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a team, ensure food safety standards, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. The Shift Manager will be responsible for supervising staff, coordinating food preparation, and ensuring smooth operational flow during their shift.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth service and efficient daily workflow.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Manage opening and closing procedures in accordance with company standards.
- Oversee stock usage, minimise waste, and report shortages to management.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Experience in food safety management and maintaining hygiene standards.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
