About the role
Community Independent Living (CIL) is looking for a dedicated and organised Care Coordinator to join our friendly team in Wirral.
This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where you will coordinate care services, manage staff rotas, and ensure people receive safe, high-quality, person-centred support in their own homes. You will work closely with our Care Team, Support Workers, Service Users and their families to ensure care is delivered efficiently and compassionately.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule care visits to ensure continuity of care.
- Create and maintain staff rotas, responding to changes and emergencies.
- Liaise with Service Users, families, healthcare professionals and the wider team.
- Monitor care delivery and ensure services meet company and regulatory standards.
- Support with onboarding new care staff and allocating shifts.
- Maintain accurate records using electronic care management systems.
- Respond promptly to telephone enquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist with compliance, audits and general administrative duties.
- Work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the smooth running of the service.
Working hours
- Monday to Friday
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Participation in the on-call rota may be required.

Requirements
- Previous experience within health and social care.
- Care coordination, scheduling or administrative experience is desirable.
- Good IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and professional boundaries.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred.
