Connect to your opportunity
We’re looking for people who are natural initiative-takers, who bring out the best in others, are brilliant listeners and can grow our business without compromising standards, integrity or culture.
You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary product team, collaborating with outstanding digital talent to innovate and create brilliant technology products for our Defence and Security Clients. Typically these will be bespoke, user-facing applications that both, deliver the intuitive experience users expect of modern products, and harness the power of cloud and AI.
In your role you will:
Collaborate closely with Product Owners, users and business stakeholders to develop a compelling product vision and translate this into well-defined requirements and measurable outcomes.
-
Conduct in-depth analysis of existing user journeys, processes, and system capabilities to identify pain points and opportunities for innovation or product enhancement.
-
Analyse and map end-to-end user flows, system interactions, and data models to inform the design of future services and product features.
-
- Translate validated product requirements into clear, concise user stories with detailed acceptance criteria; collaborating with development and design to ensure technical feasibility and a shared understanding.
-
Support the Product Owner in managing and refining the product backlog, ensuring that products developed meet customer requirements, deliver value and are appropriately sequenced.
-
Support testing and quality assurance activities, ensuring that developed digital solutions meet the defined user stories and acceptance criteria, and deliver a high-quality user experience.
Perform data analysis on product usage, user behaviour, and performance metrics to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform product iterations, feature prioritisation, and strategic decision-making.
-
Provide ongoing support and guidance to the product team, users, and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle, acting as a bridge between business needs and technical implementation.
-
Contribute to the definition and refinement of product-centric operating models and agile practices within the team, fostering efficient and effective delivery of digital products.
-
Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital product development, user experience, and agile methodologies.
-
Connect to your skills and professional experience
All applicants must be UK security cleared to Developed Vetting level or, willing and able to go through the process.
We are specifically looking for candidates with both technical and business focused skills, who can articulate the outcomes and value of their work. You should have experience in some, or all, of the following:
1-5 years in a Business Analyst or Product Analyst role within an agile product development environment; ideally, within the UK Public Sector.
-
Strong track record of translating user needs into actionable product requirements and user stories; and an understanding of how business analysis drives product value.
-
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; with the ability to dissect complexity and communicate insights effectively to diverse audiences, including product teams, stakeholders, and users.
Proficient in product discovery and agile business analysis techniques; including effective requirements elicitation, user story mapping, acceptance criteria definition and process modelling (e.g. BPMN).
-
Experience working within a range of agile delivery frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and proficiency with associated tools for product backlog management and team collaboration (e.g. Jira, GitLab)
-
- Supporting quality assurance activities to ensure developed digital products meet requirements and deliver a high-quality user experience.
Experience with successfully managing and refining product scope in dynamic and challenging environments, prioritising for maximum value.
-
- Experience of developing and maintaining strong relationships with product stakeholders, users and other roles within a multi-disciplinary team; with the ability to challenge and influence where required to achieve product goals.
