Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Branch Administrator to join our team in Halstead. You would be working closely with team to ensure deadlines are met daily while delivering the Company's Objectives and Policies. You would be expected to promote the good standing of the company in all product delivery matters while also communicate with colleagues about any issues arising from their duties. Delivering the company’s environmental policy and strive to achieve the company's environmental improvement plan would be an expectation along with acting in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with the Company's Health and Safety policy.
What you’ll be doing as a Branch Administrator:
- Manage stock control for inventory and consumable items, ensuring accurate stock levels and availability.
- Raise purchase orders and develop strong working relationships with suppliers to support efficient procurement.
- Register and maintain chain of custody records for timber products, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Process goods-in deliveries, verifying stock accuracy and updating records using the Biztrack system.
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve delivery, quality, and supply issues, negotiating effective solutions.
- Raise sales orders for customer call-offs and monitor order fulfilment through to completion.
- Maintain and update Biztrack by amending delivery dates, managing order status, and removing lapsed orders.
- Coordinate one-off sales orders, including arranging transport, scheduling picking, and communicating delivery dates with customers.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through prompt responses to enquiries and effective issue resolution.
- Investigate invoice queries and process credit notes accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare, print, and collate customer site documentation packs to support project requirements.
- Assist with quarterly stock takes, ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
- Raise, log, and maintain records of non-conformities, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain ISO documentation, ensuring records are up to date and audit-ready at all times.
- Supported the wider operations team by undertaking additional administrative and operational duties as required.
