Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
- Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointments efficiently using IT systems.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
- Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the dental surgery.
- Support the dental team in administrative tasks as required, including managing stock levels of dental supplies.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated with best practices in dental nursing.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but not essential; we welcome applications from those looking to start their career in dental nursing.
- A qualification in Nursing or relevant healthcare field is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with patients and team members.
- Proficiency in IT systems related to patient management is beneficial.
