Stores Operative - Based at Heathrow Airport
£28,000 per annum
42.5 hours per week. Mon-Fri, 5.00am-2.00pm

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Stores Operatives to strengthen our Heathrow Airport based team.
You will be responsible for the storing, distributing and control of materials using company systems and procedures.
You should preferably have previous experience of working in a Stores environment.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Taking delivery of goods and supplies, checking for damaged or missing items, storing goods and moving stock around by hand or a forklift truck.
- Responsible for picking and packing orders, loading goods for dispatch, keeping records of stock and keeping paperwork up to date.
- Responsible for the control and efficient running of the stores department on a daily basis communicating clearly with all other departments.
- Responsible for ensuring goods/material received into the company are booked correctly onto the company computer ERP/MRP system.
- Responsible for carrying out goods inwards inspection of material, highlighting any problems to the stores supervisor.
- Organise couriers to make deliveries ensuring Certificate of Conformance, invoices are signed.
- Organise periodic cycle counts and stock takes to ensure accuracy of stock levels.
You should possess excellent communication skills and organisational skills, have experience using Microsoft Office and be able to be able to solve problems.
