Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef De Partie (CDP) to join our dynamic culinary team at Oeuf Cafe. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring the smooth operation of their designated section in the kitchen, and supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef throughout service . Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes in accordance with restaurant standards and recipes
- Manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring all food preparation is completed efficiently and to high quality standards
- Oversee your section, ensuring all ingredients are prepared and stocked appropriately
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with the head chef and team to develop new menu items and improve existing dishes
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation, making adjustments as necessary
- Assist in training junior kitchen staff and ensuring they adhere to health and safety protocols
- Ensure that all food served meets hygiene standards and complies with relevant legislation
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Chef De Partie or in a similar culinary role within a busy restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation
- Experience with food safety procedures and maintaining hygiene standards in a professional kitchen
- Previous experience working in a restaurant setting, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with serving processes and supporting front-of-house operations is advantageous
