We are looking to recruit an experienced quality inspector to support our engineering operations that include the manufacture of machined parts, sheet metal components, welded assemblies and painted metal products.
The role will require the quality inspector to use in-house inspection equipment and verify that parts have been manufactured correctly to engineering drawing tolerances.
The candidate will be expected to demonstrate a high level of competency with the programming and use of CNC Coordinate Measuring Machines, Faro arms, Profile projectors, height gauges as well as vernier calipers and micrometers. The role will also undertake paint inspection that include tests to verify paint thickness and adhesion.
The candidate should be well organised, be a good team player, passionate about engineering, work well under pressure and be competent with the preparation and fast turnaround of First Article Inspection reports.
