We are The Cross Keys, a family owned independent Freehouse, nestled in the quaint North Wales village of Llanfynydd, 6 miles from Wrexham.
Our aim is simple. We want to do simple things well, with quality and attention to detail in all we do and provide a happy, warm and welcoming country pub, set in the heart of the community, serving quality food, beers, wine and drink.
We want to be a place where customers can feel relaxed, in quality surroundings, whether that be a special occasion, a family gathering, a pint or a glass after work, a pit stop on one of our circular pub walk or cycle routes or simply a quiet pint of glass of wine sat at the bar, with your dog and a newspaper.

Who we are looking for:
- We’re looking for permanent/full time an enthusiastic & creative junior sous chef.
- You will supervise and help develop the junior brigade in line with senior management.
- You will be involved in the menu development process; tastings and your ideas will be brought to the menu.
- We want to help nurture you in your career and give you the freedom to thrive, doing what you love.
- You will takes care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the Sous Chef and the Head Chef to meet the required standard and quality.
- All chefs applying for the role must have experience working in pubs or restaurants that serve all fresh food.
