Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bridge Saw/CNC Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate precision cutting machinery to shape stone materials for custom countertops, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the fabrication process.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
- Operate Bridge Saw for cutting granite and quartz materials accurately.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings and layouts.
- Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper operation and safety.
- Measure and mark slabs accurately to ensure precise cuts and minimal material waste.
- Monitor material quality and report any defects or inconsistencies.
- Assist with slab loading, unloading, and proper storage procedures.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Ensure end of day procedures are followed
Key Competences/Requirements
- Excellent Attention to Detail
- Good Communication skills
- Organised & able to work on own initiative
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Proven experience as a Bridge Saw Operator or a similar role in Stone fabrication would be an advantage
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
Pay: £26,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
