Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Cafe Team Members to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Daytime shifts Sunday,Monday & Wednesday plus additional days when required
Responsibilities
- serve a variety of food and beverages, including coffee, tea, and light snacks
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards at all times
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly service to customers
- Handle cash transactions and operate point-of-sale systems with basic maths skills
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including tables, counters, and equipment
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation throughout the shiftQualifications
- Previous barista experience or background in serving is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety regulations is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills with a friendly demeanour
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in a busy environment

Pay: £12.71-£13.71 per hour
