Riverhills is one of Suffolk’s leading health clubs and day spas. Conveniently located just off the A14 on the outskirts of Ipswich in a classic country house setting with a friendly team and a reputation for delivering great service and wonderful spa experiences combined with afternoon tea and light lunches in the Riverhills bistro.
We are looking to recruit two Housekeepers to join the Riverhills team and help continue our excellent reputation for high standards of cleanliness and friendliness.
This position would suit someone who enjoys working with people and the buzz of a busy workplace. You will be able to work on your own initiative and be driven to maintain consistently high standards. The role will involve cleaning responsibilities throughout the spa and leisure club and facilitating the in-house laundry.
The successful candidate must be able to deliver on-site cleaning to high specifications and standards within Health and Safety guidelines and to clean specific areas of the Club according to the schedule and specification as instructed by the Club management team. Prior experience in a similar setting would be an advantage, as would an awareness of COSHH and the health and safety requirements in the use of cleaning chemicals.
Hours available for this position range between 24 and 40 hours per week, across a 7-day shift rota, including earlier mornings, evenings and weekends. There may also be the occasional opportunity for overtime to cover holidays and sickness, as well as out-of-hours deep cleans.
