Store/Stock and Ground Maintenance Person

Store/Stock Person to join our expending team.
The Role
Store/Stock person required with previous experience and a proven history in manning a busy stores area.
Including maintaining stock levels, ensuring all departments are stocked with their relevant parts to keep the
construction department flowing, whilst reporting any short falls to the Project Manager, offloading, and
loading deliveries using the Forklift Truck, taking materials out to site.
Ensure all materials are checked, booked in, paperwork completed and returned to the office for processing
and that received goods are stored in their correct location or racking.
Carry out the day-to-day grounds keeping and maintenance of the warehouse and its outside areas to ensure
they are safe, functional and maintained, to include litter picking, general weeding/trimming and tiding of the
area, in bad weather making sure the area is safe.
Responsibilities
Receiving and checking all day-to-day deliveries against purchase orders and reporting any shortfall or part
deliveries.
Ensure all stock is stored in the correct manner and in their correct locations within the stores area.
Ensure the stores are kept clean and tidy.
Communicate and assist the Project Manager and Project Supervisor to ensure all materials required for
projects are in stock and in the correct area of the warehouse for collection by operatives.
Liaise with the Project Manager, Project Supervisor and admin team when required.
Assist the admin team in handling queries relating to delivery and stock discrepancies.
Keeping a record of and report any frequent shortages of materials.
Keeping Simpro management systems up to date.
Carry out quarterly stock takes including end of year stock take.
Picking and moving materials around the warehouse using a forklift.
Load and unload deliveries from suppliers.
Organize and deliver goods from the stores to the relevant sites if required.
Maintain accurate records of stock and any other data as requested by the Project Manager.
What you will need to succeed
Have good IT skills, with confidence in using Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and Simpro inventory
management systems (Simpro training will be given).
Have a Forklift truck licence (Counterbalance) training will be given
Have experience working in a similar inventory or stock control role. - Essential
Have experience in warehouse and stores management.
Have excellent organisational skills
A clean driving licence

Competitive salary
Hours 24 hour per week 07.30am to 4pm 3 days per week to be agreed.
Pension contribution.
20 Days holiday plus bank holidays, pro rata.
Staff Bonus, this is not guaranteed and is based on business performance, best bonus paid to date months’
salary and minimum bonus paid to date £250.
