About Us
Sushi Daily is a fresh sushi takeaway kiosk located inside Waitrose in York. We are passionate about preparing high-quality, freshly made sushi every day while providing excellent customer service. We are looking for an experienced and reliable Sushi Team Member to join our friendly team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh sushi, including maki, nigiri, sashimi, and other Japanese food items.
- Ensure all food is prepared to Sushi Daily's quality standards.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety.
- Prepare ingredients and restock the kiosk throughout the day.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Follow company procedures and health & safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Previous sushi-making experience is essential.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and food safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Friendly with good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
What We Offer
- £13.00 per hour.
- Part-time contract of 20 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours.
