Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to lead and support the design and delivery of structural engineering projects from concept through completion. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys solving engineering challenges, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, and delivering high-quality solutions for clients.
What you'll do:
- Design and analyse structural systems for a variety of building and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Support the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple projects.
- Review designs to ensure compliance with relevant UK regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and provide technical guidance as required.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
- Identify practical, cost-effective engineering solutions while maintaining quality and safety.
- Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and client communication.
Requirements:
- Experience in structural engineering or a related engineering role.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Good understanding of structural design principles and UK building standards.
- Familiarity with structural engineering software is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and work effectively within a collaborative team.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality work and excellent client service.
- Chartered status or progress toward professional accreditation is welcomed but not essential.

Pay: £5,000.00-£7,500.00 per month
