We are a family run dairy farm in Perthshire milking 160 cows twice daily and are looking for a reliable and hardworking dairy person to join our team.
The role involves a variety of duties including
- milking - operating a 25 aside herringbone parlour
- maintaining high standards of hygiene and milk quality control
- monitoring herd health
- assisting with calving and calf rearing
- general maintenance
The successful candidate would
- ideally have previous experience on a commercial dairy farm
- be patient with good stock handling skills
- be reliable and punctual- should be willing to work flexible hours including weekends
- be able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
This is a full time position.
