Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Housekeeping Assistant Supervisor, where your leadership will elevate guest experiences through exceptional cleanliness and service. In this vital role, you will aid our Housekeeping Manager & Supervisor in overseeing daily housekeeping operations, help motivate and guide the team, and ensure that our high standards of cleanliness and presentation are consistently met. Duties
- Cleaning of guest bedrooms, public areas & hotel facilities to a high standard.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager/Supervisor
- Assist in training new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness and quality standards
- Support the scheduling and delegation of tasks to ensure all areas are serviced promptly and thoroughly
- Address guest requests or concerns related to housekeeping with professionalism and urgency
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to avoid shortages
- Promote a positive team environment by motivating staff, recognizing achievements, and fostering open communication
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
- Prior experience in hospitality or hotel environments is highly preferred

Pay: From £13.10 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
