Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber with some drainage experience to join our small family run team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across commercial and residential sites. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures, pipes, and systems using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry techniques
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify leaks, blockages, or malfunctions
- Assemble plumbing components accurately according to specifications and safety standards
- Utilize heavy lifting techniques to handle large pipes or equipment safely and efficiently
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions promptly
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and inspections conducted
- Operate commercial driving vehicles when transporting materials or equipment between sites as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in plumbing installation and repair with a strong understanding of plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various work environments
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for commercial driving tasks
- Familiarity with assembly processes for plumbing fixtures and system components
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues quickly
