Ready for a customer service role where no two days are the same?
The Happy Camper Store is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced, confident and highly organised Customer Service Advisor to join our team in St Helens.
This is not your typical call centre or desk-based customer service role.
You’ll be at the heart of the customer journey — dealing with customers face to face, managing enquiries across multiple platforms, keeping customers updated on exciting campervan builds and restoration projects, and helping ensure every customer receives the right service for their needs.
You’ll also get out on the road, visiting campsites and holiday parks across the North West, looking after existing relationships and helping us develop new contract opportunities.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing outstanding customer service face to face at our St Helens site.
- Managing customer enquiries through WhatsApp, email, live chat and other online platforms.
- Speaking with customers to understand exactly what they need and ensuring they are booked in for the correct service.
- Advising customers on the wide range of services available at The Happy Camper Store.
- Acting as a key point of contact for customers with ongoing campervan builds, conversions, restorations and other projects.
- Keeping customers informed with clear and regular progress updates.
- Liaising between customers and our workshop team to ensure communication runs smoothly.
- Following up on enquiries, quotations and ongoing customer requirements.
- Visiting campsites, holiday parks and commercial partners across the North West.
- Maintaining relationships with existing contract customers.
- Helping identify and develop new contract opportunities.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in the leisure industry, with a minimum of 1 year’s relevant experience.
- Confident, friendly and professional with customers.
- An excellent communicator both face to face and in writing.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple enquiries and ongoing projects.
- Proactive — someone who follows things through and doesn’t let opportunities or customer enquiries get missed.
- Comfortable using WhatsApp, email, live chat and other digital platforms.
- Confident advising customers and helping them choose the correct service.
- Comfortable visiting campsites, holiday parks and customers across the North West.
- Able to build strong, long-term relationships with customers and commercial partners.
Experience within caravans, motorhomes, campervans, holiday parks, leisure vehicles or a closely related sector is essential.

We work both from our St Helens site and through our mobile service across the North West.
Essential Requirements
✔ Minimum 1 year of experience within the leisure industry
✔ Full UK driving licence
✔ Must meet our driving and insurance eligibility requirements for business travel, which currently requires candidates to be aged 25 or over
✔ Excellent customer service and communication skills
✔ Confident using digital communication platforms
✔ Comfortable travelling across the North West as part of the role
