Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring the safe handling and movement of goods. Duties
- Handling materials efficiently and safely across the warehouse
- Performing checks on materials
- Operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Managing stock levels using a Warehouse Management System/ERP systems to ensure accurate inventory records
- Assisting with shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading lorries
- Picking and packing orders parts to enter production process
- Restocking shelves and organising storage areas to optimise space utilisation
- Conducting quality control checks on goods to maintain high standards
- Performing mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ensuring the workspace is clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in a warehouse environment or similar logistics role is preferred
- Knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety procedures
- Experience operating forklifts (certification is advantageous)
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems or ERP systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with warehouse equipment maintenance is a plus
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for stock accuracy
- Good physical fitness to handle manual tasks throughout the shift
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required, including early mornings or evenings if necessary

Pay: £28,500.00-£29,500.00 per year
