We are a growing SME with a turnover of £4m, looking for an experienced HR & Payroll Coordinator to join us on a part‑time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, is highly organised, and wants to play a key role in keeping our HR operations running smoothly.
You’ll be responsible for HR administration, onboarding, maintaining employee records, and coordinating monthly payroll with our external payroll provider. You’ll also work closely with our external HR consultancy, who provide support on more complex HR matters—so you’re never on your own.
What you’ll be doing
Managing HR records, contracts, and documentation
Coordinating onboarding and offboarding
Preparing monthly payroll changes for our external provider
Supporting managers with HR processes and documentation
Handling recruitment admin and HR reporting
Ensuring compliance with policies and employment law
What we’re looking for
Strong HR admin experience (ideally senior or standalone)
Confident with payroll coordination
Excellent attention to detail and organisation
Comfortable working independently in a small business
CIPD Level 3 or above (or equivalent experience)
Hours & Benefits
Part‑time (16 to 20 hours)
Salary - £30k per annum, pro rata (depending on hours)
