Here at Country Style Foods we are currently looking for a Site Maintenance Coordinator to join our team.
Country Style Foods is an award winning modern craft bakery. We are at the forefront of the market for both high quality and artisan products. We work closely with the leading retailers and food service providers.
The hours of work will be 08:00 – 16:30 Monday to Friday.
What does the job entail?
The main duties of the Site Maintenance Coordinator will be to proactively maintain the site by ensuring the security and general appearance of the building and surrounding areas are maintained in accordance with the required standards. Tasks may include:
- Undertaking minor items of repair and maintenance to the fabric of the building and ground as directed
- Painting as and when required
- Repairing minor fixtures and fittings including the repair of wheeled equipment
- Be responsible for all planned preventative maintenance on site, including but not limited to proactive and reactive work
- Assist with minor plumbing including unblocking sinks and drains etc
- Regularly check external areas for any potential danger to people on site
- Support others as and when required
Essential Criteria:
- A positive, ‘happy to help’ attitude is an essential for this role
- You must be competent at basic building repairs and maintenance
- Previous experience using small industrial/electrical/mechanical tools
- Have knowledge of Health and Safety procedures, and be proactive in your approach to avoid any potential near misses for you and your colleagues
- Have excellent written and spoken English
- Able to regularly handle and carry items in line with the manual handling procedure*

*Some aspects of the role will require the job holder to undertake bending, lifting and stretching in the course of their duties e.g. minor maintenance work, remedial painting and decorating, repairs to fixings, receiving deliveries of goods and equipment, and setting out / putting away furniture.
