Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and dining area to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly service that exceeds expectations
- Handle food safety protocols diligently to ensure all products meet health standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light menu items when needed
- Manage cash register transactions efficiently using basic math skills to handle payments and give correct change
- Support time management by prioritizing tasks during busy periods to keep service smooth and efficient
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices to ensure hygienic operations
- Experience in serving customers with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks accurately and efficiently
- Strong basic math skills for handling transactions confidently
