Optometrist Opportunity in Walton-on-Thames area
You’ll be joining a small, friendly, and well-established high street practice where patient care comes first. It’s a relaxed environment, with loyal, repeat patients and excellent clientele, giving you the chance to focus on high-quality care rather than high-pressure sales.
- Salary up to £55,000 per annum
- Full-time, permanent role
- Based in a high street location, close to transport and with convenient parking
- Monday to Saturday, 9:00–17:30 with 30-minute lunch (closed Thursdays and Sundays)
- Convenient parking nearby – free on-street or behind the practice, 5–10 mins walk
- 20-minute walk from the train station
What you’ll be doing:
- Conducting detailed, patient-focused eye examinations – around 8 tests per day
- Flexible testing schedule, no fixed test times
- Working with a small, supportive team of three, in a friendly and welcoming environment
- Low-pressure sales – most patients are happy to spend and return regularly
- Occasional contact lens work, if interested, but not essential
- Opportunity to become a franchise partner in the future, with full training and support
