We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Centre Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and growth of our Code Ninjas centres in Harrow & Pinner.
This is much more than an operations role. You’ll be at the heart of the centre, driving enrolments, building relationships with parents and schools, managing our team, and creating an outstanding experience for every child who walks through our doors.

Your Mission
Your mission will be to grow the centres, keep them running smoothly, and make sure our Ninjas and their families have an exceptional experience.
You will take ownership of:
- Sales & enrolment growth
- Parent communication and relationship management
- School partnerships and business development
- Marketing and local community engagement
- Staff management and rota planning
- Centre operations and administration
- Customer experience and retention
What You’ll Be Doing
Sales & Business Development
- Respond to enquiries from parents, book trial sessions and convert them into enrolments.
- Conduct centre tours and explain our programmes confidently to prospective families.
- Follow up with leads and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.
- Identify opportunities to increase enrolments, retention and revenue.
- Develop relationships with local schools, clubs and community organisations.
- Contact schools and decision-makers to introduce and sell our after-school club proposition.
- Coordinate school visits, presentations and promotional activities.
- Build a strong local network to increase awareness of Code Ninjas Harrow & Pinner.
Marketing & Local Promotion
- Support and execute local marketing campaigns to generate new leads.
- Promote camps, workshops, regular coding classes and after-school clubs.
- Help develop partnerships with schools and local organisations.
- Manage local promotional activities, events and open days.
- Work with the wider Code Ninjas team to ensure marketing activity translates into enquiries and enrolments.
- Understand what works locally and continuously look for new ways to attract families.
Parent & Customer Communication
You’ll be the key point of contact for many of our families.
- Build excellent relationships with parents and guardians.
- Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries.
- Communicate class schedules, programmes, events and centre updates.
- Handle questions, feedback and concerns effectively.
- Ensure parents feel informed, valued and confident in the service we provide.
- Proactively communicate opportunities for children to progress through our programmes.
Team & Staff Management
- Manage and coordinate the instructor team.
- Create and maintain staff rotas covering:
- Regular coding classes
- After-school clubs
- Holiday camps
- Training sessions
- Workshops and special events
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels for every session.
- Coordinate staff availability and cover absences where required.
- Support onboarding and training of new team members.
- Monitor team performance and maintain high standards.
- Create a positive, professional and energetic team culture.
Centre Operations
- Take ownership of the day-to-day running of the centre.
- Ensure classes and activities start and finish smoothly and on time.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and presentation.
- Ensure appropriate processes are followed for child safeguarding, health & safety and centre procedures.
- Manage attendance, bookings and operational administration.
- Support the delivery of camps, events and special activities.
- Identify operational improvements and implement practical solutions.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is energetic, organised, commercially aware and excellent with people. You do not need to be a coder. What matters most is your ability to sell, communicate, organise and lead.
Essential
- Experience in sales, business development, customer service or marketing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident communicating with parents and professional stakeholders.
- Comfortable approaching and building relationships with schools.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Experience managing people, teams or staff rotas.
- A proactive, "make it happen" attitude.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership.
- Comfortable working towards targets and KPIs.
- Professional, friendly and approachable manner.
- Genuine interest in working in a children's education environment.
Desirable
- Experience in education, children's activities, childcare, tutoring or enrichment programmes.
- Experience selling services to schools.
- Experience managing a children's activity centre, tuition centre, nursery, club or similar environment.
- Experience with CRM, booking or customer management systems.
- Interest in technology, coding or STEM education.
