Your Health Limited was founded in 1995 and is dedicated to providing excellent standards of Residential and Dementia care and support.
We have 9 care homes across 8 locations, providing the highest levels of care and consideration to our residents. Our dedicated teams of staff ensure that our residents’ individual needs and expectations are always at the heart of what we do. Our residents and employees need a space which can be stimulating, inviting, calming, comfortable and practical all at once personalised to reflect the space’s personality. We understand just how important it is that a care home is not only warm and welcoming for residents, but also a practical space for employees and medical professionals too. As part of our maintenance team, you will play a key part in this:
We are currently looking for a full-time Maintenance Operative, to join our dedicated team.
What you will be doing:
· Preventative Maintenance.
· General building repair and maintenance.
· Tiling, plastering, painting, and decorating, basic electrical and plumbing duties.
· Woodwork and carpentry, (e.g., replacing door locks; repairing fence panels).
· Maintain all tools and equipment in good working order.
· Ensure all Health and Safety regulations are adhered to when carrying out work.
· Ensure all relevant documentation is completed as and when required.
· On call included 1 week per month
· Some travel within the UK required is for this role
What you will bring:
· Relevant trade skills to carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
· Reliability and flexibility to support the nature of the business.
· Good communication skills.
· Must hold a full, clean UK driver’s License and be willing and be flexible with respect to travel (pool vehicle available for this purpose) and maybe required to stay overnight on occasion. Travel between sites may be required (up to a 50-mile radius).
Experience in a similar role is required.
