As we continue to develop industry-leading smart and connected products, we're looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our Smart Technology team and help bring innovative ideas to life.
Working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment, you'll support the design, development and testing of next-generation connected products that integrate with mobile apps, cloud platforms and smart home technologies.
What You Will Be Responsible For
The main responsibility is to support the Smart Technology team on:

Designing and developing electronic circuits and PCB layouts

Supporting product development from concept through to production

Testing, fault finding and validating new and existing products
-
Producing and maintaining engineering documentation
-
Supporting EMC, verification and reliability testing activities
-
Researching emerging technologies and product innovations
-
Collaborating with Firmware, Software and Product Development teams both in the UK and internationally.
For This Role We Would Need You To Demonstrate
You'll ideally have:

Degree qualification in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience)

Minimum 3 years' electronics design and development experience

PCB layout and schematic design experience
-
Knowledge of EMC and electronics testing methodologies

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
-
Experience working within a product development environment.
Desirables
-
Experienced in using Altium
-
Embedded programming experience (STM, ESP or similar)

Electro-mechanical product design experience
-
Component-level fault finding
-
Familiarity with document or PLM management systems.
