Job Overview
The role will support the finance department by ensuring the smooth running of day to day financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Raise purchase orders for non stock and stock items as required.
- Verify and reconcile purchase and sales invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Communicate with vendors and customers to resolve billing issues and discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records for all financial transactions
- Reconcile bank, credit card and supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare supplier payment runs and associated information.
- Monitor and respond to emails in personal and shared finance mailboxes.
- Review and process internal submitted expenses.
- Assist and support the supplier onboarding team to ensure suppliers are onboarded in a timely manner.
- Assist with month end closing activities and financial reporting
- Support the finance team with audits and other financial reviews
- Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and correspondence
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Experience & Qualifications
- Good communication skills
- Highly organised
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience working in a similar role or AAT qualified
Pay: £30,000.00 per year
