Multi-Trade Contractor – High-End Residential Property Maintenance
Pay: From £250 per day (Negotiable depending on experience)
Location: London & Home Counties (Various Sites)
Contract Type: Self-Employed Contractor
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (Additional work available)
About Us
Herts PPS is an established and growing property maintenance company specialising in high-end residential properties across London and the surrounding areas.
We work with some of the UK's leading managing agents and property companies, delivering a premium maintenance service to luxury homes and apartments. Due to continued growth, we are looking to partner with an experienced, reliable self-employed Multi-Trade Contractor to join our network.

The Role
You'll be attending occupied residential properties carrying out a variety of planned and reactive maintenance works.
The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, be well organised, and understand the importance of professionalism when working inside clients' homes.
Typical work includes:
- First and second fix carpentry
- General plumbing repairs
- Internal decorating
- Tiling repairs and installation
- Basic plastering and making good
- General maintenance and repairs
- Kitchen and bathroom repairs
- Door adjustments and furniture
- Flooring repairs
- Silicone works
- General snagging
- Minor electrical works (where competent)
- Property refurbishment works
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Multi-Trade Operative
- Strong knowledge across multiple trades
- A primary trade qualification or significant experience in one core discipline
- Excellent attention to detail
- Professional, polite and customer-focused
- Able to diagnose problems and work independently
- Reliable, punctual and well presented
- Comfortable using a smartphone to receive jobs and complete reports
Essential Requirements
- Self-employed (UTR registered)
- Full UK driving licence
- Own van
- Own professional tools
- Public Liability Insurance
- Right to work in the UK
- Fluent English
- Ability to travel throughout London and surrounding areas
