Registered Manager — Supported Living
Full-time, permanent
We're a new specialist supported living provider launching in [region]. We support adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex mental health needs to live in their own homes — not hospitals. You'll be our first Registered Manager, shaping the service from day one.
What you'll do
Lead CQC registration alongside the Nominated Individual and manage the service through our first inspection
Oversee day-to-day operations: staffing, safeguarding, care plans, risk assessments and quality
Build relationships with local authority and NHS commissioners and respond to referrals
Recruit, induct and supervise support workers
Ensure compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards and all relevant legislation
Essential
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Adult Care (or working towards)
Experience managing a CQC-registered service (supported living or residential)
Sound knowledge of LD, autism or complex mental health care
Confident with MCA, DoLS, safeguarding and CQC compliance
Enhanced DBS (will be required)
Desirable
Experience with CQC registration from scratch (new service)
Knowledge of Positive Behavioural Support (PBS)
Experience working with commissioners and social workers
Track record of Good or Outstanding CQC ratings
