Delivery & Installation Fitter
Location: Barnsley, with UK travel

Benchmark Kennels designs and manufactures high-quality, made-to-order kennel systems for customers across the UK. We take pride in what we build and are committed to delivering quality products, honest service and a dependable customer experience from order through to installation.
We are looking for a practical, reliable Delivery & Installation Fitter to deliver and install our kennel systems at customer sites.
Working alongside our Team Leader, you will ensure every installation is completed safely, professionally and to a high standard. This is a physical, customer-facing role involving regular travel and occasional overnight stays.
Key responsibilities
- Delivering and installing kennels at customer sites
- Loading, unloading and handling materials safely
- Using power tools and installation equipment
- Completing vehicle, tool and job checks
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Communicating professionally with customers
- Reporting quality, safety or site concerns promptly
- Completing job sheets and installation photographs
What we’re looking for
- A practical, hands-on approach
- Confidence using power tools
- Good attention to detail and a right-first-time attitude
- Physically capable of handling heavy materials safely
- A full UK driving licence and the ability to meet our insurer’s requirements
- Comfortable working around dogs
- Flexible about UK travel and occasional overnight stays
- Installation, fitting, manufacturing or site experience is desirable
