Job Purpose:
To safely and efficiently operate a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve stock within the warehouse, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to load, unload, and move goods within the warehouse.
- Pick and store items at various heights according to warehouse procedures.
- Accurately check stock against orders to ensure correct items and quantities.
- Assist in packing and preparing orders for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
- Follow health and safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.
- Report any damaged goods, stock discrepancies, or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Support other warehouse duties as required, including stock replenishment.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment.
- Valid reach truck license/certification.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Good physical fitness and ability to work safely at height.
Job Types: Freelance, Zero hours contract
Pay: £14.70 per hour
