What You'll Be Doing
-
Develop detailed knowledge of our product portfolio to confidently advise customers on the best solutions

Process and pick orders accurately for customer collection and delivery

Build excellent relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers

Handle customer requests, orders, and complaints effectively
-
Serve customers at the trade counter to company standards

Raise competitive sales quotations and follow up to complete orders

Source non-stocked items from other branches or via Purchasing

Maintain stock levels and participate in stock take activities
-
Handle returned products and warranty claims promptly

Undertake delivery driving duties as required

Maintain accurate delivery records and complete vehicle checks
What You'll Need
Good standard of education including maths and English. Proven experience in a similar environment with excellent telephone manner and professional customer service approach.
You'll confidently work in a team and on your own initiative. Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
A full UK driving licence is a requirement of this role.
The successful candidate will be required to participate in the Company Out of Hours Standby Service on a rostered basis, which includes cover over Bank and Statutory Days Holiday.
