We are looking for an experienced GP receptionist to join our busy practice.
Hours: 8am - 5pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with alternate late shift to 6.30pm on a rota basis (currently once a fortnight). Additional flexibility is welcomed to cover sickness and team absences.
Location: Church Street surgery, Thorley Health Centre or Haymeads Health Centre depending on rota needs.
We are looking for someone who:
- has primary care reception experience using SystmOne and Accurx
- is able to work independently and efficiently in a busy environment.
- demonstrates excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
- handles confidential information with discretion and empathy.
- approaches their work with a positive and methodical attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist in-person patients in a friendly, professional manner.
- Manage phone calls courteously and efficiently.
- Action online consults, tasks and appointment schedules methodically and promptly.
- Communicate effectively with patients and the healthcare teams to facilitate care and respond to enquiries.
- Maintain patient records with accuracy and discretion.
