We are seeking a Hospitality Accounting Manager who embodies The Loren’s philosophy through precision, integrity, and thoughtful stewardship of our financial operations. This role supports the guest experience by ensuring that the accounting foundation behind the hotel, residences, and rental program is accurate, disciplined, and aligned with the standards of luxury hospitality.
As Hospitality Accounting Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of The Loren at Pink Beach, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, compliance with hospitality industry standards including USALI, and strong internal controls across revenue, payables, payroll, and general ledger functions. The scope also includes oversight of a multifamily property in Bermuda and the condo rental program associated with The Loren at Pink Beach. Detail-driven, collaborative, and commercially astute, you bring clarity to financial performance while safeguarding the standards, reputation, and long-term success of The Loren.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Reporting & General Ledger
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with USALI (Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry)
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Analyze P&L variances against budget/forecast and provide management commentary
- Engage General Manager and Department Heads in a monthly close meeting to speak to variances, remedial actions, and outlook for coming months
- Coordinate with Multifamily Property Manager to monitor and report on monthly financial activity
- Monitor and record Condo rentals to ensure financial responsibility is in compliance with program surrounding revenue, expense, and reporting requirements
- Manage the M3 PAS for monthly financial activity in support or accurate and timely financial reporting
Revenue & Night Audit Oversight
- Oversee daily revenue reconciliation from front office, F&B, and other outlets
- Review night audit reports for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure proper revenue recognition across rooms, F&B, banquets, and ancillary services
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Supervise AP function, including vendor payments, invoice approvals, and expense coding
- Oversee AR/credit and collections, including direct billing accounts
- Review bank reconciliations performed by M3 PAS and work to resolve open items to record into the general ledger
Payroll & Labor Cost Control
- Coordinate with HR on payroll processing accuracy and timeliness
- Monitor labor cost against budget and productivity standards
- Review department labor schedules for cost efficiency
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead annual budget preparation in collaboration with department heads and Hospitality Director/Head Office)
- Prepare rolling forecasts and flash reports
- Support capital expenditure planning and tracking
- Monitor cash flow and produce monthly cash flow projections to manage upcoming payment obligations (debt) and recurring operation activity (vendors)
Internal Controls & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local requirements, tax regulations, and company policies
- Maintain internal control procedures to safeguard assets across the Hotel, MultiFamily and Condo Program
- Coordinate external/internal audits with Hospitality Director/Head Office) and respond to audit inquiries
Team Leadership
- Foster cross-departmental collaboration with the General Manager, operations, sales, and F&B teams as well as Head Office
- Supervise, train, and mentor business partners in support of quality financial management and reporting (Labor Management, Cost Management, variance monitoring, etc)
- Participate in special projects to advance the Company mission
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities while driving change management in an organized manner
REQUIRED SKILL SETS
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of USALI and hospitality-specific accounting practices
- Experienced user of M3, Opera and Simphony
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage Intacct, Oracle NetSuite, QuickBooks) and PMS systems (Infor HMS) helpful
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modelling)
- Understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required); CPA preferred
- Additional certification in hospitality finance (e.g., CHAE – Certified Hospitality Accountant Executive) is a plus
Experience
- Minimum 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory/managerial role
- Prior experience in hotel, resort, or hospitality accounting strongly preferred (multi-property experience a plus for corporate roles)
- Hands-on experience with month-end close, USALI reporting, and hotel PMS/accounting systems
- Experience managing external accounting team (M3 PAS) with indirect guidance to broader stakeholders (General Manager, Department Heads, etc)
