We are recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Matchday Safety Stewards to join our team supporting operations at both Bolton Wanderers FC (BWFC), as well as a variety of major sporting and community events, including marathons and road races.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to work in a dynamic event environment, helping to ensure the safety and enjoyment of spectators, participants, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a visible and professional stewarding presence at football matches and events.
- Assist with spectator safety and customer service.
- Monitor crowd movement and help manage entry and exit points.
- Direct spectators and event participants as required.
- Report incidents, concerns, or safety issues to supervisors.
- Assist with emergency procedures when necessary.
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Willingness to undertake and successfully complete additional training courses as required.
- Ability to travel to both Bolton and Blackpool venues.
- Ability to take on Level 2 spectator safety training which will be available to take on
Qualifications
- No SIA Licence required.
- Previous stewarding, customer service, security, or event experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
