Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of anatomy and demonstrate exceptional therapeutic skills to provide clients with tailored massage treatments that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires an individual who is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellness of clients through effective massage techniques.
Duties
- Working hours 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 10am-6pm, 5 days/ week basis
- Conduct thorough client assessments to understand individual needs and preferences.
- Perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic massages.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate aftercare practices.
- Document client progress and treatment plans accurately in client records.
- Collaborate with other wellness professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices to continually enhance skills.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology is essential.
- Certification from an accredited massage therapy programme is required.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
- Ability to create a calming atmosphere for clients during treatments.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of massage therapy.
