Job Overview
We are looking for an energetic, positive, 'can do' person to join our team in an operational role. The role will involve pallet packing, parcel packing, wagon/van loading and unloading, inventory management, yard organisation, show kit management as well as some very occasional installation work off-site which may involve overnight stay. We are a small family business operating in the agricultural industry.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack and dispatch orders (mainly 6' X 4' sheets of EVA with fixings on pallets or in packs) on time and in full.
- Load and unload wagons using forklift
- Inventory Management: Keep on top of stock levels and flag low-levels to office team. Keep stock stored appropriately (shielded from elements as necessary). Keep yard and workshop neat, tidy and - very importantly - well organised!
- Good communication with sales & office team regarding status of orders in the pipeline
- Maintenance of our exhibition (show) kit (occasional erection of same)
- Occasional product installation on farm across the UK
- Occasional product delivery/collection across the UK
Requirements
- Honesty
- Ability to self-manage efficiently and effectively
- Driving Licence
- Fork-Lift Licence (5 Years Experience Preferred)
- Pallet packing experience preferred but not essential
- Tachograph card preferred but not essential
- Trailer licence preferred but not essential
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
