The International Office is responsible for the recruitment, conversion and support of international students, overseas partnership development and student mobility programmes, driving the internationalisation of the University and ensuring that Manchester Metropolitan University retains and enhances its global profile.
About the role
We are currently recruiting an International Enquiries Coordinator to join its International Recruitment and Conversion team. The postholder will contribute to and support the achievement of student recruitment KPIs, as outlined in the University's Road to 2030 and the Internationalisation Strategy.
Key responsibilities include managing international student and stakeholder enquiries, supporting online and in-person conversion activities, assisting with targeted prospective student communications, and producing data and reports to inform recruitment and conversion strategies.
What we're looking for?
- Strong customer service experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment; Understanding of and experience of international student recruitment is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Confidence communicating with people from different cultures and backgrounds, demonstrating cultural awareness and sensitivity.
- Strong administrative, data management and reporting skills as well as attention to detail.
- Experience providing information, advice and guidance, ideally within education or a similar customer-focused sector.
- A collaborative team player who can build effective relationships across departments and with external stakeholders.
