We have a fantastic opportunity for a someone who is qualified, experienced and motivated to join the Nursery as a Senior Practitioner in the Baby Room.
You will have had experience of working in a nursery and will be qualified to at least Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes for their career to progress in Early Years.
You will be a key person, plan activities and form good relationships with the children and parents at the nursery.
This position is full time 4 days a week, with the hours of working between the 8am and 6pm.
Ideally you will have your own transport due to the village location of the nursery and it not being on a direct bus route

The Job
The successful applicants will be passionate about working with children and have a caring and nurturing nature to support individual children's emotional well-being.
Key requirements:
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- Experience of working within a nursery or early years setting (essential)
- Experience of working with babies (preferred)
Key responsibilities :
- To produce a stimulating environment that is safe for the children
- Manage staff working in the room in the Room Leaders absence
- Support children's daily care routines and adhering to all the correct policies
- Be a keyworker and follow the EYFS framework, gaining observations and contributing to the child's learning journey
- Maintain health and safety at all times
- Ensure the well-being of the children is met as a priority.
- Carry out assessments based on the key child's development
- Provide activities and learning experiences based upon your child’s interests and level of development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents
