Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mechanic & Fast/Fit Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and hands-on inspection techniques
- Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles, machinery, or equipment utilizing hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Assemble and install parts or components according to specifications and safety standards
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate, ensuring optimal performance
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used for each job
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes and ensuring customer satisfaction during service interactions
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
- Experience with equipment repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as required by job tasks
- Basic understanding of welding processes and safety procedures is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork and communication
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
