Performing Arts Teacher – Musical Theatre & Street Dance | £30ph

Strawberry Kiwi Arts is looking for an energetic and versatile Performing Arts Teacher to lead our weekly primary school after-school clubs in the Blackheath/Kidbrooke area.
We are particularly interested in finding one teacher who can cover both clubs, although we are also happy to hear from strong candidates who are available for just one of the days.
Tuesday – Musical Theatre
- 3:30–4:30pm
- Ages 4–6 OR 7–11
- Singing, dancing and acting
- £30 per hour
Wednesday – Street Dance
- 3:15–4:15pm
- Ages 5–9
- Street/commercial dance
- £30 per hour
About the role
You'll lead fun, high-energy sessions that help children develop confidence, creativity and performance skills. Lesson plans/session guidance are provided, with scope to bring your own creativity and teaching style to the classes.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a musical theatre, dance or performing arts background
- Is confident teaching children
- Can teach musical theatre and/or street/commercial dance
- Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Is warm, energetic and encouraging
- Is highly reliable and able to commit to weekly term-time sessions
- Holds an Enhanced DBS or is willing to obtain one
This is particularly suited to a versatile performer/teacher looking for regular weekly teaching work, with the opportunity to take on both clubs.
