Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Loading Shovel Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading vehicles on site, pushing up stock piles and emptying and loading of aggregate bays across the site . This role requires a strong understanding of plant, as well as the ability to follow instruction and perform other on site related duties efficiently and safely.
Duties
- Operate loading shovel and other heavy machinery (360) for various tasks, including loading, digging, grading, and transporting materials.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery in diverse environments.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of vehicles.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating a loading shovel.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Ability to load and perform related tasks with precision and care.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid car driving licence and machine ticket with appropriate endorsements for operating heavy machinery is preferred.
