Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Curtain Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for textiles and a strong ability to sew, ensuring that each soft furnishing is crafted to perfection. This role involves working in a workshop environment, where you will be responsible for creating high-quality soft furnishings that meet our clients' specifications.
Responsibilities
- Sew curtains and other soft furnishings using industrial sewing machines, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
- Hand sewing curtains and other soft furnishings.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, making necessary adjustments or repairs as needed.
- Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring tools and materials are stored correctly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and fulfil client orders efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sewing, preferably with a background in curtain making or textile production.
- Familiarity with workshop orientation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of projects.
- A creative mindset with an eye for design and colour coordination.
