Title: Bar Staff
Reporting to: FOH Manager
Main Objectives: To provide a friendly, personable and efficient service within the bar area, serving patrons and maintaining high standards at all times in line with relevant legislation.
Main Duties:
- Provide a welcoming, friendly front-of-house service to all customers in both bar and restaurant areas
- To ensure that the bar area is kept clean and tidy at all times, maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- To run an effective and efficient bar service for both the pub and restaurant
- Follow rigidly and observe all hygiene regulations
- Ensure the accuracy of all floats through regular checks and reporting of irregularities
- Take responsibility for the efficient service of drinks and food as and when required
- To communicate our services and facilities to guests as required
- Undertake tasks such as stocking up, stocktaking and cleaning within both the bar and restaurant as required
- To deal with any customer complaints in a professional manner and to notify management of these.
- To ensure that all reasonable care is taken for the health and safety of yourself, other employees, guests and other persons on the premises.
- To observe all safety procedures and rules.
- To report and where possible take action on incidents of accidents or damage.
- To be aware and comply with company policy regarding: Fire, Health & Safety, Hygiene, Food Hygiene, Customer Care & Security.
Occasional Duties:
- To carry out any other reasonable request made by Management.
