Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and physical development in young children
- Supervise children during play, learning sessions, mealtimes, and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork
- Manage daily routines such as diapering, feeding, and nap times with compassion and professionalism
- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones
- Lead by example in promoting inclusive practices, good manners, and respectful interactions among children
- Support the professional development of team members through mentorship and leadership
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Demonstrated management or leadership skills within a childcare environment
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
- Experience with childcare management systems or record-keeping tools is advantageous
- Valid driving license is preferred for roles involving transportation or home visits
