Kitchen Assistant Wanted – The Cosy Tearoom
We're looking for a friendly, reliable and hard-working Kitchen Assistant to join our busy team at The Cosy Tearoom.
Hours:
- 3 days per week
- Usually 10:30am – 4:00pm
- More days and hours may become available after training for the right person.
- Will include weekends
The role includes:
- Food preparation
- Assisting the cook during service
- Preparing sandwiches and lunch orders
- Helping with the preparation of salads and other menu items
- Supporting the pot washer when needed
- Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and organised
- Helping with cleaning duties whenever there are no customer orders waiting to be prepared
We're looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working as part of a team
- Can work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced kitchen
- Has a good eye for cleanliness and organisation
- Is reliable, hardworking and willing to help wherever needed
Previous kitchen experience is an advantage and a high standard of food hygiene.
Pay: Above National Minimum Wage (dependent on age and experience), plus a share of tips.
